Young
Professionals
IPAA NSW Young Professionals is a group of members who work together
to identify areas that will support the professional and personal
development of tomorrow's public sector leaders. The Young
Professionals Special Interest Group arranges events of special
interest to those members who are 34 and under.
What does the Young Professionals do?
The Young Professionals:
- identify areas that support the needs of young professionals in
the public sector
- establish working groups to address target areas
- communicate recommendations to IPAA NSW Council.
The two Young Professional Councillor s provide
younger members with a direct link to the IPAA NSW Council and offer
an effective way to progress issues they consider significant.
Forthcoming events
Key activities being planned by the group include the next CEOs and
Young Professionals Breakfast to carry forward the links fostered in
previous years between younger members and CEOs in the NSW public sector,
further Meet the Chief events, and opportunities to network and socialise.
The group is also planning for the Public Sector Charity Ball later
in the year. Young Professionals events are advertised to all members
through ipaa byte and the website.
