The Practitioners' Network
Sustainability Special Interest Group
The Sustainability SIG looks at how today's decision-making can effectively engage environmental, social and economic considerations to support a sustainable future.
Aim of the SIG
The Sustainability SIG aims to provide a forum for:
- sharing information and ideas on sustainability and public sector practice to support sustainability
- sharing skills and experience to support the implementation of best practice in sustainability reporting and decision-making for sustainability
- exploring how the public sector can more effectively integrate social, economic and environmental considerations into decision-making and reporting
- examining how sustainability is being implemented in the public sector throughout Australia and in international jurisdictions.

The Sustainability SIG aims to hold up to four IPAA NSW events each year. We encourage members and other to suggest relevant topics and speakers.
