This new course will be offered by IPAA NSW in 2008.
There are five face-to-face days broken into two and three day blocks.
The Diploma builds competency in the emerging professional and practical skills required to deliver policy formulation and advice in today’s public sector.
Dr Randal G. Stewart, who has written, researched, practiced and trained in public policy for over twenty years, designed, developed and will deliver a innovative training experience in policy for public servants. An interactive, intensive training experience, the Diploma will provide multi-media presentations exploring state, local and commonwealth policies cases to equip participants to deliver outcomes to communities.
The Diploma will enhance skills in all aspects of policy analysis formulation, problem solving, agenda setting, stakeholder management, briefing decision makers and policy performance, evaluation and implementation. A special feature will be the analysis of contemporary case material, film and current writings form public services around the world.
This program is delivered in partnership with Major Training Services (RTO ID No 90748) . The course will be conducted for the first time on 12-14 February and 11-12 March 2008.
