Australian Journal of Public Administration  

AJPA Journal

The Australian Journal of Public Administration (AJPA) is a refereed publication which appears quarterly under the auspices of the Institute. The journal is supplied free to Institute members.

Aimed at a diverse readership, AJPA is committed to the study and practice of public administration, public management and policy making. APJAencourages research, reflection and commentary amongst those interested in a range of public sector setting - federal, state, local and inter-governmental. The journal focuses on Australian concerns, but welcomes manuscripts relating to international developments of relevance to Australian experience. The editors encourage contemporary and critical issues.

IPAA NSW Rules

Some changes to the Rules are being proposed to bring them into line with modern practice. Please see below the relevant documents.

Public Administration Today PAT

Public Administration Today (PAT) is IPAA's quarterly practitioner's journal. PAT aims to generate debate and disseminate information about major trends and developments in public sector management in Australia. It also is a journal of record for major conferences and speeches by leading public servants, academics and politicians. It is a valuable resource for researchers and those who simply want to keep up with what is happening in public management in Australia.

PAT welcomes contributions from anyone with an interest in public sector management in Australia. An author's guide (doc 35k) is available for contributors. Contributions should be submitted in electronic format to craig@nsw.ipaa.org.au.

PAT is provided free four times per year to all members of IPAA NSW. Non-members can take out an annual subscription to PAT.

The PAT team is currently planning for future issues. Please nominate your favourite public sector issues and themes to feature in PAT.  Themes for future issues include: April 2008 Water and environment (including carbon foot printing); July 2008 Innovation; October 2008 Education and health: issues and practices.

IPAA INK

IPAA ink insertIPAA INK is IPAA NSW's quarterly newsletter. Members receive INK free four times per year.

Contributions are encouraged. Articles are relatively short (up to 1500 words) and should be of general interest to IPAA NSW members. Contributors should consider submitting more academic or longer articles to AJPA or PAT.
