Heather Hukins R/General Manager, Better Schools Program Office, NSW Department of Education and Communities

Heather Hukins has over ten years experience in the NSW Public Sector.  Heather is currently employed as Relieving General Manager, Better Schools Program with the NSW Department of Education and Communities, working primarily in the area of major strategic change management.  Most recently she held a senior role focused on improving information management and decision support across the Department.  Previously, Heather has worked in strategic planning, performance reporting and student services, and has been a teacher in TAFE NSW.  She holds degrees in Psychology (Hons) and Commerce, and has taught Marketing, specialising in Marketing Research.  Heather is a past convenor and current member of the IPAA NSW Young Professionals Network and has been actively involved with IPAA NSW since 2005.
