Learning from 2020 and looking ahead

This is an opportunity to hear the lessons that DPC Secretary Tim Reardon draws from the public sector’s response to the challenges of 2020 as he looks towards 2021.

This event is part of IPAA NSW’s strategy to provide our members and supporters with the opportunity to directly engage with the big ideas that underpin public administration.

WHY YOU SHOULD REGISTER

The last 12 months have been a momentous period for the NSW public sector. Droughts, bushfires, a pandemic and a recession continue to reshape our work, our workplaces and our work practices in almost every part of the sector. We will all be happy to see the back of 2020, but there are still important insights from the last twelve months that we will need to bring with us as we look towards 2021.

In this special IPAA NSW event, Tim Reardon reveals what he has learned from the last 12 months and how that knowledge shapes his thinking about the big challenges for the public sector in 2021. This event allows you to hear directly from the leader of the NSW public service, and someone with a unique perspective on the performance of the sector.

It is part of our strategy to provide our members and customers with the opportunity to directly engage with the big ideas that underpin public administration. It is also a chance to get a head start in thinking about the next decade and build your understanding about the issues that will continue shape our work environment.
