How can your organisation get better results by applying behavioural economics and psychology?

ABOUT THIS EVENT

We know too well from our own lives that we can fail to do what is best for ourselves despite good intentions – whether it be through exercising regularly, saving money or eating healthily. The Behavioural Insights Unit (BIU) uses our growing understanding of how people actually behave from the behavioural sciences to support the design of more effective policy and services.

Since its launch in 2012, BIU has worked on a broad range of issues, from domestic violence to fine payment, from returning injured workers to work to childhood obesity.

This forum explores two Behavioural Insights (BI) projects to illustrate how BI could be leveraged to solve problems across the sector.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

The presenters will share their experience in subtly changing the way decisions are framed and how this impacts human behaviour. The presenters will identify how BI techniques could be applied to other areas of public sector service delivery to improve the effectiveness of public services and policy.
This is an exclusive opportunity to learn how you and your colleagues could deliver better results using BI tools.
At least 25% of this event is allocated to questions from the floor, meaning that you will also have the opportunity to play an active part in this discussion.
