President's Review

This strategic plan outlines the overarching vision and strategy for the organisation for the period 2018-2021. IPAA’s strategic plan provides a roadmap for the future. Our plan articulates the organisation’s priorities and considers trends, issues and future demands.

Our plan has been developed following consultation with IPAA’s members as well as the broader public sector community. Input was sought from the IPAA NSW Council, the Programming Advisory Committee, the Young Professional Network and the Audit and Risk Committee. A workshop was also held with staff to capture their insights. This consultation was conducted to ensure that IPAA NSW’s strategic plan belongs to the members and customers’ that the organisation serves and reflects their priorities and future aspirations.

The plan outlines the steps we will take to build the capabilities and connectiveness of our members and support the development of the NSW public sector. IPAA NSW’s principles, values and behaviours are key enablers of this strategic plan. Our values are accountability, collaboration, integrity and innovation.

If you have ideas or would like to become involved further, I invite you to speak with Madeleine Culbert, IPAA NSW Chief Executive Officer. Whether you are new to IPAA NSW or one of our many long term supporters, we look forward to working with you over the next three years as we implement this plan.
