Course Overview

This workshop helps participants run meetings as effectively as possible. It is targeted at those who want practical ideas to make meetings more productive, skills to manage difficult meetings and ideas for increasing participation. The workshop teaches participants how to structure for the meeting cycle. It gives a step-by-step guide.

  • get participants to meetings on time

  • manage difficult and unproductive behaviour in meetings
  • increase participant involvement
  • accommodate the demands of the GIPA Act
  • manage the minute taker and the minutes to increase their productivity
  • evaluate a meeting or committee’s effectiveness
  • manage virtual meetings
