Young Professional Councillor
Jesse has worked in the NSW public sector since 2015 and is currently a Legal & Ministerial Coordinator with the NSW Rural Fire Service. Prior to this Jesse worked as a Procurement Officer at the Department of Communities and Justice. Jesse has previously been involved in major reform projects at the Public Service Commission and Legal Aid NSW, including working closely with community legal centres.
Since 2017, Jesse has been an active member of the IPAA NSW Young Professionals Network and is the current Committee Secretary. In this role, he has helped deliver several popular events to encourage sector-wide networking and professional development.
Jesse is also appointed as a Community Representative on the Bayside Local Planning Panel, assessing and determining a range of development applications on behalf of Bayside Council. He was previously Chair of the Rockdale City Youth Council and Deputy Chair of the NSW Youth Advisory Council, advising the responsible Minister on issues affecting young people.
Jesse holds a double degree in Law and Commerce from the University of NSW, a Diploma of Government and a practising certificate from the Law Society of NSW.
