The IPAA NSW Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a group of professionals aged 34 years and under with a shared interest working in, or with, the NSW public sector, Members of the YPN work together to provide a framework which supports the public sector leaders of the future. The professional and personal development of members is a key focus for this group, as is arranging events and networking activities addressing topics of special interest to members.
Aims and objectives
- Connect - To offer a platform through which young professionals can maintain and expand their professional circles and peer networks.
- Grow - To provide professional development opportunities for young professionals engaged with the public sector.
- Lead - To enable young professionals driven to create public value, build their leadership capabilities outside of the workplace.
There are two Young Professionals on the IPAA NSW Council. Jesse Hanna and Aashna Rampal provide a direct link between the YPN and the IPAA NSW Council and offer an effective way to progress issues relevant to the YPN.

IPAA NSW arrange a number of events targeted to young professionals. These include the Annual CEO and Young Professionals Breakfast and Young Professionals Forum.
