This two-day program (previously known as PCTP Level 2) builds on the Introduction to NSW Public Sector Procurement course. It is designed for participants who purchase low risk, low value goods and services using whole of government or agency specific arrangements or by seeking competitive quotations. The program covers the complete lifecycle of a low risk, low value procurement from initial planning activities through to closing it out. The program targets any government officer who regularly undertakes or manages low risk, low value procurement and contracting activities, and also employees of State Owned Corporations. It is based on interactive and practical learning activities designed to allow participants to apply newly acquired knowledge to actual workplace scenarios.

This training forms part of the NSW Public Sector Procurement Training.
This training is based on interactive and practical learning activities designed to allow participants to apply newly acquired knowledge to actual workplace scenarios.
Target Audience
This two-day program is designed for participants who are not procurement specialists but who may be involved in procurement activities that use whole-of-government or agency specific arrangements and/or involve seeking competitive quotations. Anyone who is new to government and/or to procurement should complete the Introduction to NSW Public Sector Procurement eLearning program prior to attending this course.

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation policy
- Cancellation must be in writing.
- Cancellation received more than 10 business days of the course start date — no penalty will be incurred.
- Cancellation received within 7–10 business days of the course start date — 50% of the course fee will be payable.
- Cancellation received within 1–6 business days of the course start date — 100% of the course fee will be payable.
Penalties may be waived in exceptional circumstances. Work commitments do not count as exceptional circumstances. Substitute nominees may attend in your place without penalty, provided that nominee details are provided within a minimum of 2 business days before course start date.
Note: If you do not cancel and do not attend, 100% of the course fee must be paid.
Transfer policy
- Your course registration can be transferred to another course without penalty if requested more than 10 business days prior to the course start date. Otherwise, the above cancellation policy applies. Transfers can only be requested when the course fee has been paid in full. All requests for transfers must be in writing.
- Transferring your registration to another person can be done at any time without penalty.
