Robert Alder has worked as a senior manager in the public sector since 1996, initially at two major Sydney Metropolitan Councils, before working in the NSW State Government Premiers Department, Centennial Park & Moore Park Trust, Heritage Office, NSW Arts, and the NSW Internal Audit Bureau.
Recent roles include being the Benefits and Transition Manager in the Reform Group at the Department of Finance, Services & Innovation and the Change Manager at Sydney Parklands and Botanic Gardens. Robert has also held senior positions in the not for profit sector, private enterprise and the legal profession.
Robert is an FCPA, JP, Registered Tax Agent and Chartered Secretary with degrees in Business majoring in Accounting and a graduate diploma in Corporate Management. He is a member of CPA’s NSW Public Sector Committee, whilst regularly mentoring graduates and lecturing in accounting for the Governance Institute.
