ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Spann Oration is the most prestigious forum held by IPAA NSW annually.

The annual IPAA NSW Spann Oration was inaugurated in honour of the memory of Professor Richard Neville Spann, who held the Chair of Government and Public Administration at Sydney University from 1954 to 1981.

The IPAA NSW Spann Oration has been hosted since 1983 with a range of prestigious speakers including Dr Lisa O’Brien, Lord Gus O’Donnell, Anna Bligh, The Hon Nick Greiner AC, Ann Sherry AO, Dr Peter Shergold AC, Sir Michael Barber and Elizabeth Proust AO.

This event reflects IPAA NSW’s major strategic priority of advancing the profession of public administration by positioning the sector as a profession that makes a positive contribution to the NSW and its citizens.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
