About this session

Implementing the insights learned during COVID creates unprecedented opportunities for public sector leaders. Successful leaders will be those who can collaborate, communicate and commit to supporting their staff through the changes those opportunities create. Successful leaders will also need to appreciate the skills and qualities that brought them the success while being adaptable and embracing new modes of people management.

This invitation-only lunch is an opportunity to think about how you can adapt your own style of leadership to inspire change, bring together people who can drive that change forward, and support the teams whose work will create your organisation’s success. For the last 18 months, Jono Nicholas has been delivering programs to support senior public sector leaders during an unprecedented time in our sector’s history.

Jono has also delivered specialist services for public sector managers, helping them to meet the challenges of leading virtual and hybrid teams. In conversation with EY’s Dr Juliet Andrews, he will draw together insights he has gained from those two streams of work to help you map a route for leadership success in your organisation from 2022 to beyond. As part of IPAA NSW’s commitment to championing the next generation of leaders and because public sector leaders have a unique responsibility for stewardship, each attendee will also be invited to bring a high performing team member as their guest.
