An annual networking event for IPAA NSW members

ABOUT THIS EVENT

As the professional association for the public sector, IPAA’s mission is to build a confident, capable and connected public sector.

This annual event is an opportunity to connect with fellow IPAA members for an afternoon of informal networking with the IPAA Council and Madeleine Culbert, IPAA CEO.

This event is complimentary for Professional and Associate members, who are also entitled to invite one guest.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

93% of respondents to our event survey rated the 2019 Picnic in the Park as good to excellent.

“A wonderful event to look forward to each year. It's a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the public sector.” - Anonymous

Picnic in the Park is an opportunity for IPAA NSW to give back and thank our members for their continued support of the organisation against the backdrop of the stunning Sydney sunset.

IPAA has reimagined what membership provides to the public sector as part of our 2018 – 21 Strategic Plan. Picnic in the Park provides a chance to hear about this new membership model and how it will meet the contemporary needs of those working in the NSW public sector.  It is also an opportunity to learn more about how your Professional membership benefits will grow in 2020.

Attending Picnic in the Park will allow you to be part of the discussion about how we implement and promote the new membership model across the Clusters in 2020.

All IPAA events include purposeful networking which allows you to:

  • Build relationships with the speakers and fellow guests
  • Develop your capabilities
  • Establish connections across the NSW public sector
