People, Performance and Culture Special Interest Group
The People, Performance and Culture SIG was formed from the merger of the Capacity Building SIG and the HR and Learning & Development SIG.
Aims and objectives
To provide a forum for discussion and innovation on human resource management, learning and development, and capacity building in the public sector.
Present leaders and case studies which contribute to high performance and innovative cultures.
Discuss successful workforce development strategies.
Recognise and use member capacity to build passionate high performance public sector cultures.
To present leaders and case studies on such areas as:
strategic HR management issues,
learning and development strategies
learning and development innovations
attraction and retention
employment relations and industrial issues
To showcase and discuss successful capacity building, human resources and L&D strategies
To recognise and use member capacity to strengthen and build public sector capability
Program of events
The People Performance and Culture SIG holds several IPAA NSW events every year. We encourage members and others to suggest relevant topics and speakers.
