Policy Hack is a rare and invaluable program designed to support empowerment, skills-development, networking and exposure opportunities for young professionals.
Your engagement as a contributor in the 2024 Policy Hack will:
• Empower co-constructing policy initiatives relevant to current challenges in NSW
• Provide opportunities to collaborate with a diverse group of young professionals across the business units in NSW public sector
• Expand your skills in policy development, teamwork and collaboration
• Engage with a senior mentor as part of a team to guide your proposal
What to expect
The Policy Hack will kick off with the Opening Ceremony on Monday 13 May, where participants will hear from the business units working on each of the three policy challenges to introduce and contextualize the issues underpinning each challenge.
Your work will be reviewed by the Policy Hack working committee before being shared with the judges on the panel. The top 3 teams will present their ideas at the Closing Ceremony on Friday 14 June, during which the winning team will be announced and prizes awarded.
