Invitation Only Event

Please note that this is an invitation only event for senior public sector leaders.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Beyond real-world limitations, the metaverse unlocks new possibilities for improved responses in critical and challenging situations.

Join Commissioner Carlene York, a veteran leader in navigating complex crises, as she explores the transformative potential of this virtual frontier and considers how it may best be leveraged for essential frontline workers.

This event is your chance to witness firsthand how the metaverse can be applied to immersive training and virtual command centres to better support and equip frontline workers. Hear Commissioner York's views on the opportunities and challenges of adopting emerging technologies in government.

What will you gain?

Discover how this new technology can support frontline workers with immersive training, improved information, and connectivity to support critical decision-making that can help save lives, support the mental wellbeing of workers in extreme situations and improve recruitment, retention, and development of our essential workforce.

The session will include Q&A as well as peer-level discussions, with opportunities for all attendees to ask questions and consider how this technology may be best applied in an open and frank session held under the Chatham House Rule.
