Gov Gathers: Mid North Coast

The secrets to be being a successful regional public servant.

Do you want to learn how to maximise your career while living in the regions?

Do you want to know how to grow your connections with peers across the region?

Kathrina Lo - NSW Public Service Commissioner and Steve Orr - Regional NSW Secretary - discuss the capabilities that all modern public servants now need, the power of public sector networking in career development, and the particular opportunities and challenges that come with working in regional public sector workplaces.

This free, face-to-face, event is designed for all public servants working in the Mid North Coast region and includes time for audience Q&A and networking over afternoon tea.

This event is part of IPAA NSW’s new regional program of activities being developed to support the 40% of all NSW public servants who live and work outside Sydney.

If you want to develop your public sector career, this event will help you:

Understand the skills and capabilities needed for success in the public sector
Get more value out of public sector networking opportunities
Recognise and take advantage of what makes regional public sector workplaces unique.
