Mark has worked since 2004 as a freelance contractor and consultant based in Adelaide, South Australia.
Clients include organisations from all levels of government (state, federal and local) and Universities. His curiosity, his love of learning, and his experience in detailed business and financial analysis lead him to insights into how organisations and their projects can be progressed or improved. Mark designs and facilitates training programs in financial management, data analysis and presentation, project management and persuasive report writing.
The first half of his professional career led him to executive roles in South Australian Treasury and Finance. He has a deep knowledge of government decision-making processes and public sector financial management. Mark also worked for BHP Billiton as a team leader involved in establishing finance teams and services in the Shared Service Centre in 2000 and 2001.
Mark has experience in board roles currently serving as the Chair of the Julia Farr McLeod Trust (Disability sector) and as an Independent Director of Arid Recovery Pty Ltd (Science and Conservation sector).
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Economics (Honours) – University of Adelaide
• Graduate Diploma in Business – University of South Australia
