Skills for Success: Storytelling for Clear Communication

Engage your audience to drive clear outcomes.

Every time you speak, you are asking your audience to go somewhere with you. Whether you are briefing, persuading, updating or advocating, your impact comes down to how clearly and confidently you guide them.

Storytelling is not about performance. It is about helping you structure your message, engage attention and land a clear outcome. The language you choose shapes how your message is received and how much influence you have.

In this one-hour online session, you will:

  • structure your message so it leads to a clear, defined outcome
  • engage your audience from the first sentence
  • use purposeful language to strengthen your credibility and influence
  • replace vague or passive phrasing with confident, outcome-focused communication

The session will be facilitated by Tim Wilkes, founder and Chief Storysmith at Pathos Services.

Designed for busy public sector professionals, this session is practical and immediately applicable. You will leave with simple tools you can use straight away to communicate with greater clarity and impact.
