Welcome to the refreshed Working in Government program from IPAA NSW.

This updated program introduces a quiz-based learning format designed to help public sector employees build a stronger understanding of how government operates in New South Wales. Through practical questions, videos and short scenarios, the program explores the structures, responsibilities and ethical frameworks that guide work across the NSW public sector.

The quiz includes video-based questions and decorative only images. Efforts have been made to improve accessibility, including captions on videos and the ability to view them in full screen.

You can work through the questions section by section while strengthening your understanding of key public sector concepts that support effective and ethical government practice. Once you start a section, you have a time limit to complete it.

Small help nudges are available if needed however the intention is to test your current knowledge, so try answering each question before using them.

Once you receive your score, you will also receive access to additional resources to continue your learning and deepen your knowledge.

Please allow up to 1 hour to complete the whole program. Try to test your current knowledge first so you know where you need to improve before you try the challenge again. The pass mark per section is 60%.
