Melissa Clemens is the Chief Security Officer at Service NSW, responsible for ensuring the organisation remains trusted, resilient and prepared in an increasingly complex security environment. With more than 20 years’ experience across the public and private sectors, Melissa brings a people centred approach to leadership, guiding teams through change while strengthening the foundations that support customers, employees and government. She is known for building strong relationships, aligning strategy with purpose, and creating connected cultures that enable better outcomes. Prior to her CSO role, Melissa held senior digital leadership positions at Service NSW, where she helped modernise services, grow capability and support faster, simpler ways for citizens to engage with government.

Leah is an accomplished intelligence professional with over 15 years of experience building intelligence teams and enabling organisations to leverage intelligence for informed decision-making across both public and private sectors. As a Director in CyberCX Intelligence, she established and leads the Intelligence Engagement function within CyberCX Intelligence - a unique intelligence capability delivering operational and strategic intelligence to corporations, critical infrastructure providers, and government agencies. Leah works with organisations to translate intelligence into meaningful operational settings and help uplift their cyber maturity.
Her experience encompasses intelligence across government and law enforcement, including at NSW Police Force where she spent many years working in serious and organised crime intelligence at State Crime Command and State Intelligence Command. Leah was named in the Australian Financial Review’s ‘Women to Watch’ series for her rising career in the tech sector. Leah also features on Season 3 of Hunted Australia as the Cyber Lead.

Bec is an Intelligence Engagement Specialist in CyberCX Intelligence, with a speciality in cyber intelligence and human risk. Bec has a strong track record in bridging the gap between technical threat intelligence and human behaviour. In her current role at CyberCX, she supports intelligence analysis, threat research, and strategic reporting, helping organisations strengthen their resilience and effectively respond to an ever-evolving threat landscape.
With a background in social engineering, phishing simulations, and organisational security awareness, she has spent several years developing and delivering innovative security education programs that enable organisations to identify, manage, and reduce human cyber risk.
Bec’s expertise includes researching social engineering trends, analysing threat actor tactics, and translating complex threat intelligence into actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Tony Mau

Principal Investigator, Digital Forensics and Incident Response

With over five years of experience in the cyber security industry, Tony is a Principal Investigator in Australia’s largest Digital Forensics and Incident Response team, providing extensive technical knowledge and leading investigations into a wide range of cyber incidents across Australia and New Zealand. This includes leading high-profile cases for both public and private sector clients from both a technical lead and incident management role, including ransomware, business email compromise, insider investigations and data breach cases.
Tony provides insights into the latest threats faced by organisations of all sizes across Australia and New Zealand from his day-to-day experiences right at the coalface and frequently provides subject matter expertise to other CyberCX practices and external organisations.
