If you're a young professional (aged 34 or under) committed to a career in the public sector, Meet the Minister is an opportunity to build your confidence engaging with Ministers and deepen your understanding of how decisions are shaped across government and within your own area of work.
Step inside the engine room of government decision-making as you hear directly from Ministers, including The Hon. Tara Moriarty, who will share their vision for the future of NSW, reflect on the realities of political leadership, and discuss how the work of public sector professionals contributes to meaningful outcomes for the people of NSW.
Gain valuable insight into how NSW Parliament functions, how policy moves from vision to implementation, and how collaboration across government helps turn ideas into action.
A live Q&A session will give you the opportunity to ask questions directly, making this more than just a presentation. It’s a genuine conversation designed to strengthen your understanding of government, leadership, and influence within the public sector.
Beyond the discussion, you’ll connect with a vibrant network of young professionals from across the NSW public sector while enjoying drinks and canapés in a relaxed networking environment.
By attending, you’re not just learning about government, you’re actively investing in your future as a leader within it.
