Co-opted Councillor
Chris joined the NSW government in 2013 and has held senior executive roles in the Department of Industry, the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Regional NSW, was the CEO of the Greater Cities Commission and is now the Chief Operating Officer for the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
In these roles Chris has led teams who designed and delivered more than $16 billion in flagship regional development, disaster recovery and infrastructure investment packages; undertook the strategic planning for more than a quarter of Australia’s population across Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong and now leads the people and culture, finance and procurement, legal and governance and digital and data functions supporting the Department leading NSW’s climate change, energy transition, environment, heritage and water policy development and program delivery.
