Co-opted Councillor
Lyndal’s early career was in publishing where she worked for some of the world’s leading book publishing houses in Sydney, London and Tokyo. She joined the NSW public sector in 2009 at the Audit Office of New South Wales, working in a variety of executive leadership roles.
Lyndal joined the Greater Cities Commission in 2021, again holding a variety of roles including Executive Director People and Corporate Services, Executive Director Thought Leadership and Engagement, and Acting Chief Executive Officer.
In March 2024, Lyndal commenced in the Chief Information and Operations Officer role at the Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade, which became the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport on 1 July 2024. In April 2025, Lyndal was appointed Deputy Secretary Corporate Services at the department.
