Co-opted Councillor

Rebecca Milne-Muller has worked for the NSW Government since joining as a Graduate in 2019. She is currently a Senior Policy Officer for the Department of Customer Service (DCS). Bec holds a Science and Business degree from the University of NSW.

Bec has been a strong advocate for young people in the public sector for the last six years. As the DCS Young Professional Network Chair Bec has created a supportive environment where young professionals have opportunities to develop, thrive and network. Within the IPAA NSW Young Professional Network Committee, Bec has delivered several events to encourage sector-wide networking and professional development, including the 2022 and 2024 Meet the Minister events with over 200 Young Public Sector Professionals unpacking the intersection of Government and Parliament.

Bec aims to create positive change for young professionals by amplifying their voices and addressing the issues that affect them the most. Bec is committed to fostering opportunities and resources that empower young people, striving to create a more inclusive and equitable society, that benefits the public sector and its communities
