Co-opted Councillor
Shaun Ruming is the Chief People Officer at Education. He joined the Department in 2022. Previously, he held senior People and Operations leadership roles for McDonald’s Corporation, Guardian Early Learning, 360 MedCare and Pandora Jewelry.
Shaun has a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for people-centric activities, such as hiring, training, professional development, safety, employee well-being, engagement and retention, industrial relations, leadership effectiveness, and culture.
He has qualifications in HR, Management, and Operations, and holds an Bachelor of Business (HR), an MBA, and has attended executive programs in institutions such as Harvard University and London Business School.
